A teaching assistant has been arrested for allegedly spraying a South Carolina school with a substance that smells like poop, resulting in students getting sick and causing tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage.

Alexander Paul Robertson Lewis, 32, of Florence, S.C., is suspected of showering the substance throughout West Florence High School between Aug. 25 and Sept. 19, WPDE reported.

Investigators say the offensive spray — designed to mimic the smell of poop — came from an online distributor.
