The Detroit Tigers promoted outfielder/designated hitter Justyn-Henry Malloy from Triple-A Toledo with five games remaining in the 2025 season.
The Tigers created a spot on the roster for Malloy by optioning third baseman/second baseman Jace Jung to Triple-A Toledo. He appeared in just three games during this stint with the Tigers, but he didn't start any games.
Malloy, 25, hasn't played for the Tigers since Sept. 5.
In 2025, Malloy is hitting .214 with one home run, 20 walks and 31 strikeouts across 49 games for the Tigers.
