MADISON (WKOW) -- UW Health is working to make sure student athletes in the Madison Metropolitan School District reach their full potential.
UW Health and MMSD are partnering to provide strength and conditioning coaches at each of the four public high schools.
Nationally certified coaches are at the schools to work with the student athletes across all sports.
"We tailor our programs in a way that it supports their athletic performance, but also their healthy habits, and also thinking about their long-term health," said strength and conditioning coach Romaric Setodji.
The long-term health and building a relationship with the athletes is especially important for the younger students who are just starting their athletic careers.
