A 24-year-old Amory man has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for distributing child sexual abuse material, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Mississippi announced Wednesday.
According to court documents, William Hadley Maddox sent child pornography to a minor over an internet application and received images of the minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Senior U.S. District Judge Sharion Aycock imposed the statutory maximum of 240 months on Sept. 23, 2025, followed by lifetime supervised release. Maddox must also register as a sex offender wherever he lives, works, or attends school.
