BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- For the third year in a row, another Brooklyn neighborhood has been named one of the world's coolest neighborhoods, according to Time Out.
This year, Red Hook, the waterfront neighborhood renowned for its eclectic mix of warehouses, museums, restaurants, and bars, made the list of the coolest neighborhoods. It took the No. 14 spot on the list.
Known for hotspots like The Red Hook Tavern, Brooklyn Crab, Red Hook Lobster Pound, and Hometown Bar-B-Que, these eateries have thousands of customer reviews, according to Google.
The neighborhood is also known for its massive IKEA store, which draws New Yorkers and tourists in large numbers for Swedish Meatballs and cool, hip furniture at a low price.
