A Tucson woman has been arrested after posting on social media what was considered a threat to the safety of the Tempe City Council meeting in August .
Kathleen Tierney was taken into custody in Tucson on Wednesday morning, facing multiple counts, including a Class 5 felony on Computer Tampering for “recklessly using a computer, computer system or network to engage in a scheme or course of conduct that is directed at another person and that seriously alarms, torments, threatens or terrorizes the person”.
Police said Tierney's post on social media on Aug. 28 created an “immediate safety concern that caused the Tempe City Council meeting to be cancelled due to a "safety issue.”
