A Boulder man was arrested in connection with a July 18 armed robbery of a Lyons convenience store after deputies searched his phone and found he texted multiple people links to a news story about the robbery, officials say.

Jaden Lee Robinson, 21, faces charges of aggravated robbery, felony menacing with a firearm and theft between $300 and $1,000 in connection with the robbery of a Circle K on U.S. 36. Robinson turned himself in to the Boulder County Jail with the help of his attorney on Tuesday, more than two months after deputies and police couldn’t find him fleeing the robbery, according to a Boulder County Sheriff’s Office release.

Robinson was released from custody after posting $10,000 bond, according to online court records.
