Emmerdale was full of explosive scenes on Wednesday night as it featured John Sugden's escape plan. ‌

Soap watchers will recall that John has been on the run since his crimes were exposed thanks to husband Aaron Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd, who John tried to kill. ‌
