WALKERTON, Ind. (WNDU) - A Walkerton family is getting an update to their home as part of a community fundraising effort by A&M Home Services.

Each year, A&M partners with a local charity to donate a new roof, and this year’s partnership is with St. Vincent de Paul.

The raffle raised more than $15,000, and our team was at the winner’s home for the installment.

“We never won anything like that,” said Mark Klota. “It was a God send for us.”

“Definitely a blessing you don’t think you’re going to win, but let’s give it a try,” added Michelle Klota. “We were kind of really shocked that we were the fortune winners.”
