The Virginia Department of Emergency Management focuses on preparation, response, and recovery in the event of natural or man-made disasters.
“And what we’re responsible for is ensuring that the Commonwealth is one ready to respond to disasters, whether they be, a natural disaster or a manmade, disaster.
