ROCKFORD, Ill. (WREX) — Winnebago County is bringing something new, allowing you to view important documents and information right at your fingertips.

The county recently unveiled a new app, which brings court information, case data, the ability to pay fines, and scheduling information on the go.

Winnebago is the only county nearby with this technology and believe it's important to make that information as accessible as possible.

"We started the app because the court system is difficult to navigate and so many people are trying to do things pro se now , for themselves. And so, what we wanted to do is give constituents better access to the court system," Tom Lawson, the Chief Deputy Circuit Clerk for the county said.
