NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Conservative activists entering Tennessee State University unannounced on Tuesday left uproar and outrage on the campus.

The group is part of the Fearless Debates Tour, which has a goal of honoring the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk and creating an open dialogue on political topics.

Lance Johnston and Cam Higby spoke to me about the reasoning behind the tour and Tuesday's incident at TSU. They focused on two main topics, which they described on two signs next to their table.

The first topic was "DEI should be illegal," and the second topic was "Deport all illegals now! Let's talk." While they believed the topics allowed people with different viewpoints to speak, several students at the university were unsettled and angry.
