HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One of Hendersonville's biggest initiatives over the last three years has been repaving the city's roads.
Just last year, the city spent more than $7 million to make the roads better for residents. By the end of this year, they'll have spent about $6 million. The city is hoping to complete a number of paving projects in the next few months.
From projects as small as culs-de-sac to major city thoroughfares, Hendersonville is getting things done when it comes to fresh asphalt.
At the beginning of September, the city reached the halfway mark for its scheduled road projects. Now, there are about a dozen roads left on the list, including Lake Park Drive, Ridge Drive, Saratoga Boulevard, and Clifftop Drive.
