TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) is looking for a person of interest who allegedly attempted to kidnap a woman.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 23, deputies from the PCSD San Xavier District responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a woman screaming for help near West Los Reales Road and South Brackenbury Drive.
Deputies quickly located the victim, who reported being grabbed and having her mouth and nose covered by an unknown man while walking in her neighborhood.
PCSD said she first noticed the individual near West Tetakusim Road and South Bolingbroke Avenue, just a few blocks away from where the incident took place.
The person of interest is described as possibly of Hispanic or Native American descent, and is heavy-set, according to PCSD.
