The 2025 high school football season enters the fifth week for teams across El Paso and Texas.

There will be 29 in action on Thursday, Sept. 25 and Friday, Sept. 26. Pebble Hills, Riverside, Cathedral and Horizon are off this week.

Among the top games are Hanks vs. Andress, Austin vs. Ysleta, Chapin vs. Burges, Franklin vs. Coronado and Montwood vs. Eastlake.

There are 11 weeks in the regular season, followed by the start of the playoffs in all six classes.
