HOLLYWOOD -- At 95, June Squibb is showing us once again she is still a leading lady! She's starring in the new movie, "Eleanor the Great." Her director is often a leading lady herself: Scarlett Johansson!
In the film, Squibb plays an outspoken woman who moves back in with her daughter following the death of her dearest friend. In a nutshell, and in grief, Eleanor ends up doing something that has a domino effect on her life and the lives of those around her.
It's a role June had been attached to take on for a few years.
"There's so much going on and so many beautiful scripts. This was wonderful. This was a script that the minute I read it, 'I'm doing it!' You know, I want this. That's it. I want things and I wanted this!" said Squibb.
