BELLEFONTAINE NEIGHBORS — A 22-year-old man was charged Wednesday with using a dumbbell and steak knife to kill his sister, authorities said.
Craig Jones, of Bellefontaine Neighbors, was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the attack on his sister, Taylar Hill, 26, in a home in the 1200 block of Bliss Drive, police said.
A probable cause statement said Jones struck Hill on the head with a seven-pound dumbbell several times, then stabbed her several times with the steak knife. He then fled the home but was later found by police and arrested without incident.
Police said he confessed to the murder. Jones was being held Wednesday without bond.
