LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - To open Southeastern Conference play Kentucky Volleyball faced South Carolina and won in three straight sets.
The Wildcats won the first set, 25-17.
In the second set, the Gamecocks did not let up.
South Carolina led, 18-10 in the second set before the ‘Cats went on an 11-3 run, tying the second frame at 21 a piece.
Kentucky won the second set, 29-27.
The Wildcats had momentum in the third frame, winning the last set, 25-18.
Kentucky will face Georgia at 7:00 p.m. in Historic Memorial Colliseum on Sept. 26, with the game being televised on SEC Network+.
