COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney's office confirmed a 9-month-boy died Monday after his mother allegedly threw him across a room last week.
Billie Tustin , 30, was indicted Wednesday on one count of aggravated murder, one count of felonious assault, one count of endangering children and one count of murder in connection to the boy's death. She was initially charged with felonious assault in the incident.
What happened on Sept. 17?
The Columbus Division of Fire was called just after 5 p.m. to the 900 block of North Fourth Street in Italian Village. Arriving medics found the 9-month-old in critical condition.
The boy was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Documents from Franklin County Municipal Court state that the boy suffered multiple traumatic injuries
