BLOOMFIELD, Mo. (KFVS) - The Stars and Stripes National Museum and Library invites school students and the public to honor military history and heritage at Liberty Days on October 3 & 4.

The event will feature historical reenactments, a flag retirement ceremony, a variety show, food trucks, and more.

Executive Director Laura Dumey says more than 400 students from 16 counties plan to attend the event on Friday, October 3.

“Liberty Days is a cornerstone event for our museum, bringing together the community to celebrate and learn about our military heritage,” said Dumey. “We’re especially excited to welcome students on Friday to inspire the next generation with these powerful stories.”
