SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- A Syracuse University student believes the school needs to do something after two students were charged with hate crimes after their antisemitic actions at a fraternity.
"You have to take this stuff seriously," Elliot Pototsky said. "It all builds up and eventually becomes worse and worse."
Pototsky wasn't involved in the incident, but he is part of the Jewish community on campus.
The incident involved a student accused of crashing a fraternity’s Rosh Hashanah dinner and throwing pork on the walls and floor.
The other student is accused of driving the first student to and from the fraternity house, before being caught by police, according to the DA and Syracuse University administrators.
