BENGALURU: An alleged massive land grab scandal, involving over 350 acres of prime real estate valued at more than Rs 1,200 crore, has created ripples throughout Karnataka. Bengaluru Divinity LLP, allegedly a benami front linked to a sitting cabinet minister, is operating in collusion with real estate major DLF and local political brokers.

Alerted by mounting evidence, the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) formed a high-level committee, which on July 29 confirmed that forged documents had been created and submitted by Bengaluru Divinity LLP in partnership with DLF, to claim false ownership records.

The land is located in Varthur Narsipura village, Tavarekere hobli, across survey numbers 1-31 and surrounding areas, covering roughly 350 acres. The plots were originally acquired years
