"We're changing lives. And we're giving these young women an opportunity."
Green Bay Packer great Donald Driver was back in Tulsa on Wednesday to kick off year two of the "Driven All-Girls Flag Football League." Year one was a huge success, with nine schools competing last year and East Central taking home the title, and Driver wanted to step things up this season.
"We wanted to make sure that we did it even better for season two," says Driver.
Wednesday's kickoff event started with each team receiving all new uniforms and equipment. There was also a photo booth and several other team bonding events.
"We want them to appreciate what we're trying to do here and making sure that the future of what we've been able to implant right here in Tulsa continues for a very long time," says Driver
