MARION COUNTY, Fla. – A Marion County man was reported missing on Wednesday morning, sparking concern over his whereabouts, according to the sheriff’s office.
In a release, deputies said that the man — identified as Timothy Madison, 72 — was last seen at The Refuge in Ocklawaha around 7 a.m.

“He left on foot and is believed to have headed west from The Refuge toward the Ocklawaha River,” the release reads. “Due to the fact that Timothy suffers from (mental) illness, law enforcement is concerned for his well-being.”
Madison is described as being bald, standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, and having brown eyes.
