MACON, Ga. — A Warner Robins family is celebrating a major milestone this week, one year since their son, Cameron Price, came home after spending months in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Atrium Health Navicent’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital in Macon.
Cameron was born on September 28, 2024, at just 28 weeks' gestation and weighing only 2 pounds, 14 ounces.
"You see a baby, you can never see one that’s small and this little, and you have a sense of scare and hopelessness that comes over you," Mark Price said.
For Cameron’s parents, Tabatha and Mark Price, the experience was overwhelming but ultimately filled with hope. They spent weeks at the hospital until, just in time for the holidays, Cameron was strong enough to come home.
