The state and the Saints are one step closer to a lease agreement over the future of the Superdome.

WDSU Reporter Shay O'Connor was the only on-air reporter there and was live with what's next. The board adopted a motion to move forward when a deal is reached. Meanwhile, businesses near the Superdome said they hope a deal is made.
Charles Regnard, manager at Copper Vine Restaurant, said, "I think it's easier to ask what impact doesn't the Saints have on this building and business. This building pretty much lives and breathes by the Saints' schedule."
