YOUNGSTOWN The Youngstown Press Club held its 5th annual Hall of Fame and Awards dinner on Wednesday, featuring five inductees and eight award winners.

Among those inducted into the Hall of Fame was Paul Jagnow and Tony Paglia.

Paul Jagnow, inducted posthumously, was a staffer for the Vindicator for more than 46 years, according to the dinner program distributed at the event.

Jagnow was born in 1940 in Ravenna.

After graduating from Ravenna High School in 1958, he attended Youngstown State University, where he began serving as the chief photographer and later city editor at The Jambar.

At the same time, Jagnow worked nights and weekends for the Vindicator, compiling box scores for the sports pages and doing other odd jobs.
