ST. CLAIR SHORES – For a team to make a league championship run, everything needs to fall into place over a certain number of months.
With two weeks left in the regular season, St. Clair Shores Lake Shore’s boys soccer team seemingly has things slowly lining up.
The Shorians took another step in that direction Wednesday at home in a 3-1 victory over Madison Heights Lamphere in Macomb Area Conference Gold Division play.
Although the work is far from done, if Lake Shore can find a way to win out, the Shorians will win their first league title since 2016.
Lake Shore (8-3-4, 5-1-1) picked up the important three points with the win over the Rams, giving the Shorians 16 points with three more league games to go.
