(KRON) -- Sonoma police said three suspects, including a 17-year-old boy, face attempted murder charges in connection with a robbery and stabbing of an employee at a gas station in Sonoma.
The incident happened just after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at a Chevron gas station in the 500 block of West Napa Street. Police said the 22-year-old male victim was found at the location with a stab wound to his leg. He was taken to a nearby trauma center for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects had run away from the scene before officers arrived, said Sonoma police.
Police said the suspects were later located at a nearby residence just before midnight. The 17-year-old was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County juvenile detention center. The other suspects, identified as Ernan Valencia Madrigal, 35
