LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska made quick work of Michigan inside the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Wednesday night in Lincoln. The Huskers swept the Wolverines in their Big Ten opener (25-22, 25-10, 25-13) behind an efficient night from college’s volleyball’s top-ranked team.

Four Huskers hit better than .400, including junior middle blocker Andi Jackson who had eight kills on nine swings. Harper Murray led Nebraska with 11 kills, while freshman Virginia Adriano added ten.

The victory raised Nebraska’s record to 11-0, which setter Bergen Reilly described as a “statement win.” Reilly, along with first-year head coach Dani Busboom Kelly, said the Huskers needed a dominant performance to reset the team’s mindset for the conference season.
