MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Everyone has a different idea on how to fight crime in Memphis.

One nonprofit has created a more unified plan.

This week, Cities United is hosting its Leading the Way Tour at the Gaisman Community Center. Leaders from both Memphis and Shelby County along with health professionals and community partners will be in attendance.

The goal is for everyone to come together and collaborate on the future of public safety in Memphis.

The organizer of the event is Cities United, a nonprofit based in Louisville, Ky. The organization travels to different cities throughout the country to help leaders find long-term solutions to crime and also invest in these communities.
