A Helensburgh veteran is fighting for his life in a Thai hospital as his family attempts to bring him back to the UK.
Alexander Parker, who served with the Royal Fleet Auxiliary in the Falklands, the Gulf, Bosnia, and Iraq, is in intensive care with suspected lymphoma. The 73-year-old had been splitting his time between his home in the UK and Thailand , where he worked as a teacher, when he fell ill five months ago.
