A major car giant has turned its back on electric vehicles - because "demand is not strong enough." Three models are set to get petrol engines instead.
The company originally planned to transition to a fully electric lineup by 2030. Bentley, the historic carmaker that’s headquartered in Crewe, Cheshire, plans to renew three models with petrol engines, instead of electric.
Bentley is delaying its EV plans as the brand believes their is currently a lack of interest from its customers. The shift in strategy also means three models will be renewed with petrol power, instead of electric.
