PEMISCOT COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A second small earthquake in less than 24 hours was recorded near Steele, Missouri.
According to the United States Geological Survey, a magnitude 2.2 earthquake registered at 10:44 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, approximately 3.4 miles northeast of Steele, in Pemiscot County.
The depth of the quake was 5.59 miles.
As of 3:45 a.m. on Thursday, there has been one report of someone feeling the latest quake.
The USGS reported that another magnitude 2.2 quake registered northeast of Steele shortly before midnight on Tuesday.
