The eighth NC Faith and Freedom Salt & Light Conference, a faith-based policy conference, will be held this weekend in McDowell County.

“The conference stands as a rallying point for those committed to championing conservative Christian values following the assassination of Turning Point USA's Charlie Kirk,” reads a news release from the organizers.

Organizers at NC Faith and Freedom expect more than 2,000 people to attend the three-day gathering at Nebo Crossing church on Barnes Road. It will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
