NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One person was critically injured in a shooting in North Nashville Wednesday night.
Officers were called to the 2400 block of 26th Avenue North in the Cumberland View apartment complex around 7:45 p.m.
According to Metro police, two people got into an argument before one of them pulled out a gun and attempted to fire the weapon, but it jammed. Officials said a woman not involved in the argument then fired her weapon three times, hitting the victim in the leg.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.
It is not known if anyone was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
