Entertainment writer Ed Balint suggests fun things to do this month in the Canton area.

1. Hall of Fame City Comic Con

Hall of Fame City Comic Con will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 27 at Canton Memorial Civic Center, 1101 Market Ave. N.

The event features comic books, collectibles, cosplay and special guests, including Gavin Smith, artist for "The Last Ronin" and "Star Trek"; former WWE wrestler Gangrel; Aaron Archer, toy designer for "Transfomers," "G.I. Joe" and "Batman"; and Fabian Nicieza, writer and editor of "X-Men" and "X-Force."

The comic con also features a gaming annex with 9,000 square feet of tabletop and card gaming. Both casual and tournament play will take place, including "Dungeons & Dragons," "Pokémon," Disney "Lorcana" and "Magic: The Gathering."
