When asked for menu recommendations by first-time visitors to his restaurant, Mi Tierra co-owner Ramon Munoz likes to point them along the way to Santa Fe.

The Santa Fe is one of the five dishes grouped under “House Specialties” on the multi-page menu of Mi Tierra Cocina Mexicana, which recently opened its third location in Tulsa. Strips of steak and chicken have been grilled along with shrimp, onion, zucchini and tomatoes, and piled atop a plate-filling serving of rice. The house white cheese sauce is then drizzled over everything, and it comes with a choice of flour or corn tortillas.
