Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, in an interview with Axios news website, said that he would be ready to quit once the war with Russia is over.

"My goal is to finish the war," not to continue running for office, Axios quoted Zelenskiy as saying.

The comments hint at Zelenskiy's intentions to not continue in office indefinitely. Moscow has so far dismissed the Ukrainian president as an 'illegitimate' leader with the Kremlin saying any future peace deal can't have Zelenskiy's signature.
