Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday launched ATL Sarthi, a collaborative initiative with the University of Kashmir aimed at strengthening the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) ecosystem across Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking on the occasion, the LG described ATL Sarthi as a “laudable initiative” that will connect every Atal Tinkering Lab to a wider network of guidance and mentorship, fostering innovation among school students.

He noted that J&K’s innovation ecosystem is “steadily transforming at the school level” through ATLs, with districts including Jammu, Udhampur, Rajouri, Kulgam, Shopian and Srinagar witnessing a significant rise in student-led projects and future-ready skill development.
