Brisbane star Josh Dunkley says he has no concerns about teammate Lachie Neale’s grand final fitness – just 19 days after the star Lion was ruled out for the season.

The Lions had released a statement after their qualifying loss to Geelong, where Neale sustained a tear in his right calf.

“Lachie Neale will not take any further part in the club’s 2025 finals campaign ... Scans on Saturday afternoon confirmed a tear in Neale’s right calf which will see the midfielder sidelined for at least four to six weeks,” the club said on September 6. Grand Final
