Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar participated in the "Swachhata Hi Seva" 2025 campaign at Sector 22-D market in Chandigarh.

The campaign aims to promote cleanliness and hygiene across the country.

Khattar emphasized the importance of cleanliness, quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan from the Red Fort on August 15, 2014.

He said that the Opposition had raised questions at that time, but Modi, carrying forward Mahatma Gandhi's message, launched a campaign for freedom from filth.
