BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) - The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded nearly $2 million to a North Dakota nonprofit to help prevent and end homelessness among Veterans across the state.

Community Action Partnership of North Dakota will receive $1,903,205 through the VA’s Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program. The funding will support services throughout fiscal year 2026, including housing assistance, health care access, financial planning, childcare, legal aid, and transportation.
