Tickets to see the Chicago Cubs compete in the National League wild card round next week are set to go on sale Thursday.

The playoff ticket lottery closed earlier this week, according to the team, but a general public sale for wild card round tickets is scheduled start at 10 a.m. Thursday.

The Cubs are in line to host the best-of-three series at Wrigley Field when it begins Tuesday, with Chicago currently holding a lead over San Diego for the top wild card spot. If that happens, it will mark the first time fans have been able to attend playoff games in Chicago since 2018, as the COVID-shortened 2020 postseason was played without spectators.
