Everybody loves a good debate in baseball, and few spark as much passion as the MVP Award race. Some are runaway coronations, but the closest ones remain a flashpoint for fans and historians long after the ballots are cast. We're seeing that play out right now as the Mariners' Cal Raleigh and the Yankees' Aaron Judge vie for American League MVP honors.

Both players have a strong case.
