New Delhi: IIT Guwahati, the organiser of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2026, has assured candidates that it will take utmost care while scheduling the upcoming core exams to avoid any clash with the Union Public Service Commission’s Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2026. The GATE 2026 test papers will not be scheduled on February 8, 2026.

This move aims to ensure that candidates will not suffer a date clash with major GATE papers such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and others, with the UPSC exam.
