Two U.S. Park Police officers and a U.S. marshal were hurt when a driver ran a red light in Southeast D.C. late Wednesday, authorities say.
The driver ran a light and hit a Park Police vehicle at about 11 p.m. in the 4700 block of Southern Avenue, along the D.C.-Maryland border, according to Park Police. The officers and marshal were inside the vehicle

The officers, marshal and driver who hit them were taken to hospitals with injuries expected to be non-life-threatening.
A Metropolitan Police Department investigation is underway. The driver’s name and any charges were not immediately released.
