The Centre, late on Wednesday, accused Wangchuk, who had been protesting for Ladakh's statehood and its inclusion in the Sixth Schedule, of putting the blame for the violence in Leh squarely on the activist. The Union Home Ministry said that Wangchuk's fast and "provocative" speeches— citing the Arab Spring and Nepal's Gen Z protests —incited a mob that attacked BJP and government offices, torched property, and injured more than 30 police and CRPF personnel.
Meanwhile, the BJP's National Information and Technology cell chief Amit Malviya alleged that Wangchuk an
