SOUTH PARK TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Two people were taken to the hospital after a late-night crash in South Park Township.

Emergency responders were called to the intersection of Corrigan Drive and Maple Springs Wednesday for an SUV that went over an embankment. Advertisement

Rescuers say they had to set up a rope system to extract those who were trapped inside the vehicle.

The names of those who were injured and the extent of their injuries has not been made available.
