A man was rushed to hospital by air ambulance after being stabbed in a terrifying alleyway robbery in Worcester.

The robbery happened at around 3.40pm in the alley which links Windermere Drive to Sainsbury's car park in Blackpole.

The victim, aged in his 30s, had his bike and phone stolen.

He was rushed to hospital by air ambulance after sustaining stab wounds.

Police say he is now in a stable condition and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
